Sector Baltimore is taking steps to prepare for the 2011 hurricane season in accordance with the Sector Baltimore UPPER CHES BAY MARITIME HURRICANE CONTINGENCY PLAN. Sector Baltimore expects to set port condition WHISKEY today, August 25th. Accordingly all commercial, oceangoing vessels and barges greater than 500GT desiring to remain in port at a designated facility or anchorage during the storm must notify the appropriate Captain of the Port.
